Right here in Long Beach, there’s a convenient skate park. Houghton Skate Park is close to RTHM to make it super easy to get your skate on. This free, outdoor, concrete skate park includes deep bowls, a 3-portion clover bowl, half pipe, quarter pipe mini-ramp, stair set, flat rail, and grind box. Helmets and safety gear are required. This colorful and artsy skate park is also popular with roller skaters, bicyclists, and scooters so please keep a look out. It’s lighted as well and located at East Harding Street. YELP gives it 3.5 stars out of 5. Houghton Skate Park is located with expansive Houghton Park that includes athletic fields, picnic spaces, basketball courts, soccer field, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and community center.
