Business Top Story: 12 Lots in the 2.2-acre Estates Pasadena Community in East Pasadena

Brandywine Homes announced today that it has acquired 12 lots in the 2.2-acre Estates Pasadena community in East Pasadena. Construction of the four- and five-bedroom homes will begin this month, with completion of the last home expected in May 2014.

“We are excited about this rare opportunity to build new homes in a built-out area of Pasadena,” said Dave Barisic, vice president of sales and marketing at Brandywine Homes.
“With the completion of this community, we are able to offer elegant family homes that reflect the charm of the surrounding neighborhood,” Barisic said.

The approximately 2,900- to 3,500-square-foot homes at Sierra Madre Villa Avenue and East Sierra Madre Boulevard will be built in Cape Cod, Hastings English and French Provincial styles and will include gourmet kitchens, master suites, front porches and family-friendly open floor plans with up to five bathrooms, according to a news statement.

The homes will have authentic brick and stone exteriors and fireplaces as well as eco-friendly features including tankless water heaters, low-E glass windows and night setback automatic thermostats, according to the statement.

The new homes were designed in partnership with LCRA, an award-winning architectural firm located in Old Pasadena. TCO designed the landscape, including streetscapes and entry, and Pacific Dimensions, a nationally recognized interior merchandising firm.
The community is less than a mile from the Foothill & Rosemead Shopping Center that includes Trader Joe’s, 24 Hour Fitness and restaurants.
