The City Council on Tuesday will hold a public hearing on a request by Brandywine Homes to amend the city’s general plan to allow for medium density homes to be built on two acres where the former First Christian Church sits at 18110 Magnolia St. Brandywine plans to build 10 detached “garden homes” on the two acres and another six detached homes on 0.93 acres off Third Street. The hearing relates only to the 10 garden homes. The meeting is at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 10200 Slater Ave.
